1. What a fuse bead kit is designed to do

A fuse bead kit brings together the creative materials, working surfaces, handling tools and finishing materials needed for a defined product format. The exact contents can be adjusted according to the intended user, project, retail channel and order volume.

A compact kit may contain a focused standard color set and a small number of tools. A project-specific kit can be developed around a customer-provided image, with the required colors calculated and sorted into the confirmed product box.

2. General Accessory Bundle vs. Project-Specific DIY Kit

FormatWhat it includesColor fillingBest for
General Accessory BundleBulk beads in 100 g, 250 g or 500 g packs plus empty storage boxes and selected toolsStorage boxes are supplied empty; no color sorting or fillingOpen-ended creative assortments and buyers with their own packing workflow
Project-Specific DIY KitA standard color set or image-based project, product box and optional boards, tools, ironing paper and labelsRequired colors can be sorted into the confirmed DIY kit boxStandard retail sets and custom project kits
Important distinction: Color sorting and filling are limited to DIY kit boxes. JoyBeans Craft does not fill separately purchased jars, compartment boxes or other storage products for general bulk bead orders.

3. Fuse beads and kit formats

JoyBeans Craft supplies 2.6 mm fuse beads in 221 colors. General bulk bead orders are available in 100 g, 250 g and 500 g packs per color.

For DIY kits, buyers can choose one of nine formal standard sets containing 24, 48, 72, 96, 120, 144, 168, 192 or 221 colors. An additional image-based custom option is available when the kit needs to follow a customer-provided design.

Compare the standard products in How to Choose the Right Fuse Bead Color Set for Different Uses.

4. Pegboards

Pegboards hold the beads in position while the pattern is built. The peg spacing must match the 2.6 mm bead size, and the board dimensions should support the planned design.

Square interlocking boards are useful for larger 2D designs and for preparing multiple components of a 3D project. Pegboards can be included in a DIY kit when required, with the size and quantity confirmed for the project.

5. Tweezers, bead-placement tools, scoops and sorting trays

Tweezers help place, rotate and remove individual 2.6 mm beads. Bead scoops and sorting trays support faster color transfer and organization.

A DIY kit can include tweezers or other bead-placement tools according to the target user and project. Custom 3D-printed bead-placement tools can also be discussed with the sales team.

Kit planning note: A kit does not need every tool shown. Select the tools that match the bead size, project complexity and intended working method.

6. Storage boxes and product boxes

Storage systems keep colors separated, labeled and easier to replenish. Buyers may purchase empty jars, bottle-style containers, removable compartments or portable cases for their own retail or studio workflow.

For general bead-and-accessory orders, these storage products are supplied empty and are not filled or sorted by JoyBeans Craft. For a confirmed DIY kit, required project colors can be sorted into the selected product box. The box format, dimensions and compartment structure must be confirmed with the sales team.

7. Pattern files, ironing paper and finishing materials

Electronic pattern instructions can be provided for a project-specific kit. Printed physical pattern sheets are not included unless separately confirmed.

Use suitable fuse bead ironing paper or another heat-resistant barrier specifically intended for the selected heating method.

Heating equipment: JoyBeans Craft does not supply irons or fuse bead presses. Buyers should source the heating equipment separately and follow the equipment manufacturer’s instructions.

8. Project-Specific DIY Kit Delivery Scope

  • Product box: A box is included for the DIY kit, while its dimensions, compartments and material must be confirmed with the sales team.
  • Custom labels: Custom labels can be applied using buyer-provided or approved label artwork.
  • Pegboards: Pegboards can be included according to the pattern size and customer requirement.
  • Tools and ironing paper: Tweezers, other bead-placement tools, custom 3D-printed bead-placement tools and suitable ironing paper can be selected according to the order.
  • Final retail packaging: Availability depends on purchasing volume, packaging feasibility and the requirements or regulations of the destination market.
  • Service boundary: JoyBeans Craft is responsible for selecting and sorting the required bead colors for the DIY kit. Outer packaging design is not provided.
Scope reminder: The above sorting service applies only to DIY kit boxes. It does not apply to empty storage boxes purchased with bulk bead orders.
