1. Define the market and end buyer
Buying bulk fuse beads makes sense when volume is predictable: a craft shop, an online store, a studio running classes, a distributor supplying other retailers — or an experienced crafter who uses beads steadily enough to buy by the kilo. The minimum is 10 kg per order, and it applies to the order as a whole rather than to each color, so a bulk order can still cover a wide color range.
Experienced hobbyists who go through beads steadily and already know their colors often reach 10 kg without difficulty, and bulk is the sensible route for them: exact codes, exact quantities, restocked as they run out.
If you are newer to the craft, or still working out which colors you use most, a ready-made set is the better starting point. The 221-color Ultimate set covers the complete range in one box at roughly 10 g per color, about 2.21 kg in total, and can be ordered directly.
Start by identifying where the product will be sold and who will use it. A craft retailer, online seller, studio, workshop organizer and gift seller may need different color coverage, packaging and kit components.
- Destination country and sales channel
- Target user and intended age group
- Expected price tier and product positioning
- Typical 2D, 3D or open-ended creative use
2. Choose the product format
All formats use 2.6 mm mini beads, the same size class as mini Perler, Hama and Artkal beads, and compatible with standard 2.6 mm pegboards.
Confirm which of the three main sourcing formats you need:
- Beads Only: selected colors in 100 g, 250 g or 500 g packs.
- Beads + Storage & Tools: bulk packs plus empty storage boxes, boards and hand tools.
- Complete DIY Kits: one of nine standard color sets or an image-based custom project kit.
Compare the formats in Three Ways to Build Your Fuse Bead Product Range.
3. Confirm the color set or exact color codes
Choose one of the nine standard products containing 24, 48, 72, 96, 120, 144, 168, 192 or 221 colors, or provide an exact list of individual color codes.
Retailers and wholesalers can use the intended end-user scenario to decide which color range to stock. Review the color-set guide before confirming the assortment.
4. Bulk fuse bead pack sizes and quantities
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Standard pack sizes | 250 g and 500 g per color — the standard production formats |
| Trial pack size | 100 g per color, available on request for testing a wide color range |
| Minimum order | 10 kg per order, applied to the order as a whole rather than to each color |
| Color mixing | Colors are mixed freely up to the 10 kg minimum |
General bulk beads are available in 100 g, 250 g and 500 g packs per color. Provide the required pack size and quantity for each color, together with the estimated total order volume.
| Information | Example |
|---|---|
| Color code | A3, H1 or another selected shade |
| Pack size | 100 g, 250 g or 500 g |
| Quantity per color | Number of packs or total weight |
| Total order estimate | Approximate kilograms or number of kits |
5. Confirm storage, boards and tool requirements
List the empty storage boxes, pegboards, tweezers, bead scoops, sorting trays, bead-placement tools or ironing paper you want to add.
Review the available component categories in What Is Included in a Fuse Bead Kit?
6. Prepare image-based custom kit information
When requesting a kit based on an image, provide:
- The image or design file
- Preferred finished project size
- Estimated number of kits
- Target user and sales market
- Required product box or compartment direction
- Whether pegboards, tweezers, other bead-placement tools or ironing paper are needed
JoyBeans Craft can match suitable standard colors, calculate the required quantities and sort the project colors into the confirmed DIY kit box.
7. Confirm labels and retail-packaging requirements
Custom labels can be applied using buyer-provided or approved label artwork. JoyBeans Craft does not provide outer packaging design.
Final retail packaging must be evaluated according to the order volume, packaging feasibility and the requirements or regulations of the destination market. Share these requirements before quotation rather than after production planning begins.
Shipping options
Beads can ship by sea freight, air freight or express courier. Sea is the cheapest per kilo and the slowest; express is the fastest and the most expensive; air sits between them. Many buyers use express or air for a first order to get product on the shelf quickly, then move to sea once volumes justify it.
Quotes can be issued on FOB or CIF terms. If you are not sure which suits your setup, say so in your inquiry and our team will talk you through the options for your destination. Freight is quoted separately once the color list, quantity and destination are confirmed, because weight and volume determine the cost.
8. Share quotation and delivery information
- Destination country and delivery address or port
- Preferred delivery method, when known
- Required sample or production timeline
- Documentation or market-compliance questions
- Contact name, email and optional WhatsApp number
These details help the sales team confirm product pricing, packaging feasibility, lead time and freight questions more efficiently.

Frequently asked questions
Where can I buy bulk fuse beads?
JoyBeans Craft supplies bulk fuse beads direct from our own factory in Dongguan, China, in 2.6 mm mini size across 221 colors. Orders start at 10 kg with colors mixed freely, and ship worldwide by sea, air or express.
What is the minimum for buying fuse beads in bulk?
10 kg per order. It applies to the order as a whole rather than to each color, so a bulk order can still cover a wide color range.
Can I order in bulk if I am buying for myself?
Yes. The 10 kg minimum applies to the order as a whole, and experienced crafters who know their colors and use beads steadily often reach it comfortably. If you are newer to the craft or still deciding which colors you use most, a ready-made color set is an easier starting point.
Can I mix colors within the 10 kg minimum?
Yes. Colors are mixed freely, so you can take small quantities of many colors on a first order.
What pack sizes are available?
100 g, 250 g and 500 g per color. 250 g and 500 g are the standard production formats.
Do you supply irons or heat presses?
No. Beads, pegboards, tweezers, scoops, storage and ironing paper are available, but heat tools are not part of the range.
How long does an order take?
Lead time depends on the color list, quantity and season, and is confirmed with the quote. Include your target delivery date in the first message.
